Research Use Policy

Brightline Scientific operates as a controlled-access supplier of materials intended exclusively for lawful Research-Use Only (RUO) purposes. This Research Use Policy explains the limitations attached to product access, purchase, communication, handling, transfer, and use.

1. Purpose and Business Status

Brightline Scientific is not a pharmacy or compounding facility operating under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Brightline Scientific is not an outsourcing facility registered under Section 503B, nor is it a clinical laboratory or healthcare provider.

2. Research-Use Only (RUO)

Research Materials are intended only for lawful laboratory, analytical, educational, or other non-clinical research activities.

Research Materials are not intended for:

• Human consumption or administration.
• Veterinary consumption or administration.
• Diagnostic, therapeutic, prophylactic, or clinical use.
• Food, drug, cosmetic, supplement, household, or personal use.
• Treatment, prevention, mitigation, diagnosis, or cure of disease.
• Use in or on any person, patient, animal, or living subject.

3. No Dosing, Medical, or Treatment Guidance

Brightline Scientific does not provide and will not assist with:

• Dosing or dosage calculations.
• Reconstitution instructions intended for administration.
• Injection, administration, route-of-use, frequency, or cycle guidance.
• Treatment plans or therapeutic protocols.
• Patient-specific or person-specific guidance.
• Medical, veterinary, pharmaceutical, nursing, or clinical advice.
• Side-effect management or adverse-event guidance.
• Human-use storage, preparation, or handling instructions.
• Recommendations concerning disease, symptoms, body composition, performance, recovery, appearance, aging, or health outcomes.

Requests for this information may result in refusal of service, account restriction, cancellation, or termination.

4. Customer Qualifications and Responsibility

Customers are responsible for determining whether they possess the appropriate training, facilities, safety procedures, legal authority, and institutional approvals required for their intended research.

Account approval does not constitute certification, endorsement, credential verification, legal authorization, scientific validation, or approval of any proposed use.

5. Independent Evaluation and Analytical Documentation

Customers must independently evaluate product identity, documentation, suitability, experimental design, controls, methods, risks, storage, handling, disposal, and applicable law.

Any certificate of analysis or third-party documentation is provided for informational review and does not replace the customer’s own quality system, verification, testing, or professional judgment.

Every released lot is tested by a third-party U.S. laboratory using Ultra-High-Performance Liquid Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry (UPLC/MS). The applicable COA identifies the Brightline Lot Number, Laboratory Report Number, reported analytical results, and issuing laboratory.

UPLC/MS supports compound identity and relative purity as reported by the laboratory. Other analytical attributes require separate testing methods and may be claimed only when they appear in the applicable Laboratory Report. A COA describes the material as tested.

6. Handling and Storage

Customers are responsible for implementing appropriate controls for receipt, inspection, storage, access, security, contamination prevention, labeling, recordkeeping, transport, and disposal.

Only trained and authorized personnel should handle Research Materials. Products should be stored according to product-specific documentation where available and within an appropriate controlled research environment.

7. Prohibited Transfer or Resale

Products may not be resold, redistributed, repackaged, relabeled, transferred, or supplied to another person or entity without prior written authorization from Brightline Scientific.

Products may never be transferred for human, veterinary, diagnostic, therapeutic, cosmetic, food, supplement, or household use.

8. Customer Communications

Brightline Scientific may answer questions about order status, Brightline Lot Numbers, Laboratory Report Numbers, available documentation, packaging, shipping, account access, and stated storage information.

Brightline Scientific will not interpret research findings, recommend experimental outcomes, validate a research protocol, or advise on human or veterinary use.

9. Right to Refuse or Cancel

Brightline Scientific may refuse access, decline questions, cancel orders, restrict accounts, or terminate relationships when communications, ordering behavior, or other information suggests prohibited use, unlawful activity, misrepresentation, resale risk, or noncompliance with this policy.

10. Reporting Misuse

Suspected misuse, diversion, unauthorized resale, false representation, or prohibited use may be reported to contact@brightlinescientific.com. Brightline Scientific may preserve records and cooperate with payment providers, carriers, legal counsel, regulators, or law enforcement when appropriate.

11. Acknowledgment

By requesting access, creating an account, purchasing, or receiving a product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Research Use Policy.
